Neutron Reflectometry (NR) is a versatile tool for examining structural complexity at interfaces. In recent years at the ISIS facility there has been a growing community using NR and model membrane sample systems to structurally resolve biochemically relevant events.
From the 7th until the 9th of September 2022 we will run a meeting at Cosener’s House in Abingdon, Oxfordshire on examining membrane biochemistry with neutron reflectometry. The meeting will bring together a range of university and facility scientists to discuss recent NR studies in this area and the future directions this science may take.
The meeting will also celebrate the scattering career of Jeremy Lakey who will retire in 2022.
The meeting is free to attend and there are twelve slots available for contributed talks. Depending on demand we may also run a poster session before the conference meal on the 8th of September.
The contributed abstract submission deadline for the meeting is the 1st of July 2022.
The conference room at Cosener's house will only comfortably accommodate 55 people so we will close registration once this number has been reached.
Accommodation is available for the meeting from Cosener's House. To book this please email Cosener’s house Reception (coseners@stfc.ac.uk) with your requirements quoting reference #63893. There are 30 rooms reserved at the venue for meeting delegates on the 7th and 8th of September which will be allocated on a first come/first served basis. If accomedation at Cosener's house is unavailiable there are a number of hotels in Abingdon town centre which are within walking distance of the meeting venue.
